Lemons to Aid

Lemons to Aid and Comfort Socks have joined together in a partnership that will help homeless people of America receive the comfort of new socks.

For over 15+ years, Kenny Rose has recruited family and friends to join him in giving back. It’s a Christmas morning tradition. The plan: meet at Kenny’s house at 6AM to start making tacos. The multi car caravan loads coolers full of 100’s of tacos along with stash stock piled throughout the year to be delivered to homeless people. Way to go!

Passengers on American Airlines Flight #2065 from Dallas to Denver decided to make a difference! We made Lemons to Aid “Thinking of You” cards for the troops. We let them know how much we appreciate their service at 30,000 feet above ground!

Hudson (age 5) and Parker (age 2) donated to the Red Kettle campaign and adopted an Angel from the Salvation Army Angel Tree at NorthPark Center in Dallas.  We are spreading the word through the Lemons to Aid campaign that kids at any age have the power to make a difference!

ALL of the 15 Rockfish Seafood Grill locations raised $5,000 to help the Gulf! The staff’s kids sold lemonade outside of the restaurants on August 25, 2010 and they donated 100% of the proceeds and 10% of the Rockfish Seafood Grill profits that day to the Greater New Orleans Foundation.

Dallas kids made “positive placemats” for Meals on Wheels through the Lemons to Aid program at Kiddie Krafts Camp on Monday, August 16, 2010.

Ella raised $150 by selling lemonade to friends, family and neighbors. She donated the money to the Ronald McDonald House. Way to go Ella!
